The Palace of bygone days seated 500 people on the main floor and sometimes sold out two showings a night. The lobby was very small, there was no backstage area or balcony seating.

Welcome to the new Vinton Palace Theatre. Opened in November 1999, it hosts the latest movies and houses plays by ACT I of Benton County.

The interior of the new theatre can seat 161 people on the main floor and 50 in the balcony. Full service features include a snack bar, state of the art sound and projection system, and accomodations for the hearing impaired and for patrons in wheel chairs.

As you can see, there is now a balcony in the theatre. The seats in the balcony were donated by the Jehovah's Witnesses.

The screen is able to roll up and provide a place for ACT I of Benton County to host plays. It can also be used for many other special events. You may want to contact managers@vintonpalace.org to discuss any questions you may have about using the theatre for your special event.
