[Click on image to see full-size]   The Palace of bygone days seated 500 people on the main floor and sometimes sold out two showings a night. The lobby was very small, there was no backstage area or balcony seating. [Click on image to see full-size]   Welcome to the new Vinton Palace Theatre. Opened in November 1999, it hosts the latest movies and houses plays by ACT I of Benton County.   [Click on image to see full-size] The interior of the new theatre can seat 161 people on the main floor and 50 in the balcony. Full service features include a snack bar, state of the art sound and projection system, and accomodations for the hearing impaired and for patrons in wheel chairs.   [Click on image to see full-size] As you can see, there is now a balcony in the theatre. The seats in the balcony were donated by the Jehovah's Witnesses.   [Click on image to see full-size] The screen is able to roll up and provide a place for ACT I of Benton County to host plays. It can also be used for many other special events.
